Needs: email on every plan.
A short "how did we do?" message with your review link.
When a job is completed, send one review request with your Google link — on email, and SMS when consented. Once per job, never twice.

The mechanic is deliberately boring. When a job moves to completed, MaidPilot sends that job's customer a review request containing your own Google Business Profile review link. It sends once per job, so nobody gets asked twice for the same visit. Email is the base channel; SMS adds a text when the customer has given SMS consent. That is the whole feature, and it is the reason it works.
Save the link once. Every completed job asks exactly once.
Paste your Google Business Profile review link into settings. Every request uses that stored link.
One settingCompletion is the trigger — not the invoice, not the payment, not a manual campaign.
Job statusEmail to that job's customer, plus SMS if they opted in. De-duplicated per job so a second completion cannot double-send.
One askThe customer writes it on your Google profile. Nothing is captured or modified on the way.
Real reviewConsent is per channel. Nothing is sent to a customer who has not opted in.
Needs: email on every plan.
A short "how did we do?" message with your review link.
Needs: SMS consent, plus SMS on Pro/Business (US) or Profissional (BR).
A text with the review link and a STOP footer.
Needs: WhatsApp consent, the channel, and the review event switched on.
A plain-text message with the review link; no buttons on this event.
Optional WhatsApp pings are suppressed if the last send failed, or if three sends in a row got no reply.
Review-request automation is an à-la-carte add-on at $19/mo, and no plan bundle includes it. If it does not appear in your Plans & Billing list, ask us and we will enable it on your workspace. The SMS leg still depends on the SMS channel, which is a plan feature rather than part of the add-on.
Asking for reviews and showing them are two different features:
What the site will not do is invent testimonials. If there are no real reviews to show, the section collapses instead of filling the space with flattering fiction.
Partly — and nobody outside Google can tell you by how much. Measure your own funnel instead.
review request rate = review requests sent / jobs completed review conversion = reviews received / review requests sent reviews per month = jobs completed x request rate x conversion
Those are MaidPilot's own measurement definitions, not benchmarks. Track them monthly: is the bottleneck asking, or the experience the customer just had?
No filtering unhappy customers away from Google. No “rate us 5 stars to continue” interstitial.
The ask is automated; the answer is not. We do not write or buy reviews.
Nobody can guarantee a rating or a ranking. A vendor who promises it is telling you what you want to hear.
